FPU's Harvest of Hope Food Drive Begins

Fayetteville Public Utilities invites you to participate in the annual Harvest of Hope Food Drive that helps fill the shelves of the local Good Samaritan Association with food to feed our neighbors who need assistance throughout the year.

Select items from your pantry or pick up a few extra items at the grocery store and donate those canned and non-perishable food items to FPU’s Harvest of Hope Food Drive. Foods needed include nonperishable canned meats, vegetables, fruits and juices. Boxed or bagged rice, noodles and beans, canned or dry soups and soup mixes are also needed. Dry goods like crackers, oats, packages of Kool-Aid, hot cocoa and coffee will also be accepted.

You can bring your food donations to the FPU office at 408 West College Street between now and Dec. 31st during regular office hours.

Please support the Harvest of Hope and help put food on the tables of those in need.

For more information on how you can participate, call Fayetteville Public Utilities, at 433-1522.
